Born Free Nature’s Closing Down Sale

It’s a shocking but little known fact that the wild animal population has fallen 70% since 1970. Born Free wanted to highlight the plight of the natural world and encourage people to adopt an endangered animal. So on Black Friday we launched Nature’s Closing Down Sale: a traditional closing down sale, but instead of the usual furniture store closing down – it’s nature itself.

Over the campaign period, we generated £315,032.46 in new adoptions - an increase of 56% on the year before.
